What is a Paint Party Workshop?
If you've always wanted to paint but never tried, this workshop is for you! If you've painted before and want to meet new friends and just have fun painting, this is for you. You'll be able to eat, drink and socialize. However, the focus will be on your painting. I'll walk you through step by step and paint along with you. Along with learning some of the fundamentals, I'll show you techniques used to paint different elements in a painting. I want you to be happy with the end result and feel proud of what you've accomplished.
 

The workshop is divided into two days. Either way, bring a snack and drink for yourself as we'll need to take breaks. You may think that's a long time to paint but you'll be amazed at how quickly the time passes. All you need is the desire to learn. This class is for people 16 and older. Bring a friend and paint together! Please arrive 20 minutes early to check in, meet your fellow students, get set up and be ready to find the artist in you!

How do I sign up for a workshop?
Simply phone 910-795-7425 or Contact Me if you'd like to participate in a workshop. Early registration is recommended because of limited seating. The maximum number of people in a workshop is six. If a workshop is sold out, you can be added to a waiting list.

Is there a minimum age limit to signing up for a workshop?
Yes, you need to be 16 and older to sign up for a workshop.

What do I wear?
I provide aprons for everyone and we'll be using acrylic paints. Once acrylic paint dries, it becomes difficult to remove. Davin Studios is not responsible for damage to clothing. We're here to have fun so just wear something you won't worry about if you do get a little paint on it. By the way, once you get paint on you, you're officially an artist!

What is the cost of a Paint Party Studio workshop and what is included in the price?
The price of a workshop is $145 and includes the canvas, use of the artist's paints, brushes, easels, palettes and aprons. The best part is that you take your completed painting home with you. You can keep it, give it as a gift or sell it and make some money!
 

How Do I Pay for the Class? A prepayment is required. You can send a payment using your phone and credit card through the Venmo App., which is a division of PayPal. You can also pay online through PayPal. Please read the Venmo and PayPal User Agreement and Privacy Policy when making your purchase.

Are Gift Certificates available?
Yes! Gift certificates make wonderful gifts especially for that person who has everything! Just click on the Gift Certificate tab. You can pay for a certificate online and I will email you the certificate.

Fundraisers
Having a Fundraiser event is fun. I bring all my artist supplies with me to your home, clubhouse or fundraising location. There is a slight increase in the price of the fundraiser because a portion of the proceeds will be donated to your fundraiser of choice.

Can I bring a guest to the paint party workshop to watch?
Sorry, but due to limited space and unless your guest has paid for the workshop, only the artists are to be present.

Cancellation Policy
Due to limited workshop space, there is a No Refund Policy. If you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, you can be issued a credit toward scheduling another workshop. There is no refund for not showing up. To reschedule, please send an email to eleanor@davinstudios.com or call the studio at 910-795-7425. This will also allow other people to come if they're on a waiting list. If the workshop is canceled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances on my behalf, you can reschedule or be issued a refund 10 business days after the date of the workshop.

Other Information
During the workshop, I would like to take photos. These may be used on this website or on social media. If you prefer not to be in a photo, please let me know ahead of the workshop as I respect your privacy. Of course, feel free to take your own photos and share with friends.
